Our colourful open style restaurant kitchen and indoor dining area is now open for your dining pleasure. Sip a coffee or cool drink and enjoy a treat from the general store and bakery while taking a relaxing pause in your day. The delicious, always changing Sunday brunch menu can be enjoyed indoors or outside on our large patio. We will follow our taste buds as they lead us towards the Middle Eastern and North African cuisine that we love most. Our intention is always to lean hard into local, sustainable and seasonal produce with an emphasis on plant-based healthy meals. We aren’t shy about our love of cardomom, rose petals, za’atar, harissa, tahini and sumac and loads of bright flavours and fresh herbs. As the same time, you can always count on finding the tried-and-true favourites like our delicious breakfast sandwich and sesame toasted bagels with cream cheese and lox. Our three mushroom panini melt features locally grown lions mane, oyster and portobello mushrooms with nettle pesto in a luscious and satisfying meal. Gluten-free, wheat free and vegan options will always be available. And our refreshing homemade ever changing spritzers make great use of  local and seasonal offerings from elderberries and rhubarb to lilac and spruce buds. 

The outdoor patio with its signature colourful tables and swirling raised beds full of edible and ornamental plants offers a unique and relaxing dining experience. With the forest on one side of the patio and Rails to Trails running alongside the property, we can easily accommodate romantic couples, families with children, or groups of cyclists, hikers and joggers exploring the winding trails between Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Bridgewater. Our future picnic baskets offerings will allow you to dine in our woods at our shaded picnic tables, or the option of carrying a delicious lunch to your favourite beach destination.
